*When redeeming Membership Rewards® points to book your travel, the full transaction amount will be charged to your Card. You will need to be able to pay for the full transaction amount of your booking shown including any taxes fees and carrier charges (as applicable) charged to your Card upon booking. Excludes any fees that may be charged by the travel provider. Usually within 30 days from booking (although may take up to 150 days), you will receive a statement credit for any Membership Rewards® points you have redeemed towards the travel purchase. If the credit isn't on the same statement as the transaction, it will appear on your next statement. Please pay all amounts due each month.
Offer: Earn a £400 Travel Credit when you spend £15,000 between and including 1 October 2025 and 31 December 2025. Travel Online Credit Terms and Conditions:
1. The £400 Travel Credit will only be made available for you to use if you meet all of the following conditions:
- You are an eligible Platinum Cardmember
- You charge £15,000 to your eligible Platinum Card between and including 1 October 2025 and 31 December 2025. If you do not meet the spend threshold due to a Merchant not charging your Card during this period, e.g. because of a delay in dispatching your goods, you may not be eligible for this Offer
- Minimum booking of £400 required for prepaid travel booked through americanexpress.com/en-gb/travel/
Restrictions and Exclusions On Travel Credits
2. You can only use the Travel Credit to pay for prepaid travel booked through https://travel.americanexpress.co.uk/. You cannot exchange the Travel Credit for cash, use it to pay for anything else, or have it applied to your Account as a statement credit for other spending. The Travel Credit also cannot be used to pay any fees and charges associated with any travel booking, such as change or cancellation fees (whether charged by us or any travel supplied).
3. You can only use the Travel Credit once.
4. The Travel Credit will expire if you do not use it by 30 June 2026.
5. If you hold multiple American Express® Cards with a Travel Credit benefit then you can only use one Travel Credit per booking.
6. The customer accepts that the total cost of the reservation will be charged to the Cardmember. Once the travel booking has been charged to your Card, the statement credit will appear on your billing Account. Statement credits will usually appear on your Account statement within 30 days from the date of the transaction, but it could take up to 150 days. You can report missing statement credits by contacting us through chat via the Amex® App or your Online Account, or by calling the number on the back of your Card. American Express will then take the appropriate steps to resolve your request within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Travel Credit bookings are subject to the relevant travel supplier terms and conditions, and may incur change or cancellation fees from the travel supplier and American Express.
8. You will earn Membership Rewards® points on the part of your booking which you pay using your Travel Credit at the normal Membership Rewards rate that applies. See Membership Rewards® Programme terms for more information.
9. The Travel Credit cannot be sold or otherwise transferred for value. We may withdraw your Travel Credit if we reasonably believe that you are seeking payment, compensation, or other value for your Travel Credit.
10. Supplementary Cardmembers are not eligible for this benefit.
11. We can reverse any statement credit that has been awarded if
- The travel booking is subsequently cancelled and it is not refundable; or
- We discover or reasonably suspect any fraud or other criminal activity, breach of these terms, or any serious misuse (as reasonably determined by us) relating to your use of this benefit.
12. Any reversal may take place up to 180 days. If the statement credit is reversed after you have paid your bill, your Account may show a negative balance.
13. You will not be able to use the Travel Credit and you will not receive a statement credit during any period where:
- You have not paid your monthly payment shown on your Account statement on time, and this has not been paid in full; or
- Your Account is suspended for any reason.
14. If the reason we suspended this offer no longer applies, then:
- You will be able to use this offer again; and
- Any statement credit you have earned which has not yet been added to your Account will then be added.
15. We can suspend the Travel Credit if technical failure or any other factors outside our control means that we are unable to make this benefit available in a safe and proper way (for example, if we suspect fraud or if there is a risk of loss or damage to you, other Cardmembers, or us).
16. If your Account is cancelled, you will no longer be able to use the Travel Credit.
17. If your Account is cancelled, and you have earned a statement credit which has not yet been added to your Account, we will add this to your balance unless your Account was suspended prior to cancellation and this was why the statement credit was not added, or we have the right to reverse a statement credit as explained above.
18. We will use your personal information such as name, email address, Account number and transaction information to manage your use of this benefit, to monitor your eligible spend and send you servicing communications about this benefit. You also acknowledge that American Express will send you communications to administer the benefit (such as to confirm enrolment and use of this benefit). For more information about our use of your personal information and your rights, please refer to the Cardmember Privacy Statement.
Restrictions and Exclusions on Spend
19. Qualifying spend in the Offer can be in one or more transactions. Spend can be with any Merchant who accepts American Express. The Offer only applies to spend settled in Great British Pounds (GBP). All transactions must be made by 31 December 2025. Cardmembers will be charged a non-Sterling transaction fee of 2.99% for transactions made in a currency other than Great British Pound (GBP). This fee does not count towards the Offer. If you do not meet the spend threshold due to a Merchant not charging your Card during this period, e.g. because of a delay in dispatching your goods, you may not be eligible for this Offer. The Travel Credit will only be rewarded if the spend threshold is met. Should the amount charged not meet the spend threshold due to a fluctuation in the exchange rate the statement credit will not be rewarded.
20. This Offer applies to spend at an Account level. Qualifying spend includes spend on the primary Card which is eligible for the Offer and any supplementary Card linked to the same Account.
21. This Offer only applies to purchases on the Card to which the Offer is eligible (including where the Card has been added to a mobile wallet). Spend that is subsequently cancelled or refunded will not count towards your spend for the purposes of this Offer.
22. Travel Credits are not earned on Balance Transfers, Cash Withdrawals, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange, interest, any spending in excess of your credit limit, charges for returned payments, late payment or referral charges and American Express Credit Card finance charges. You cannot exchange the Travel Credit for cash, use it to pay for anything else, or have it applied to your Account as a statement credit for other spending. The Travel Credit cannot be sold or otherwise transferred for value. The Travel Credit also cannot be used to pay any fees and charges associated with any travel booking, such as change or cancellation fees (whether charged by us or any travel supplied) or baggage fees.

Fine Hotels + Resorts
Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) program benefits are available for new bookings made through Platinum Travel Services, Business Platinum Travel Services, the Dedicated Centurion® Team or American Express Travel with participating properties and are valid only for eligible Platinum Cardmembers, Centurion® Members or Business Platinum Cardmembers and excludes Platinum Credit Companion Cards. Bookings must be made using an eligible Card and must be paid using that Card, or another American Express® Card, in the eligible Cardmember's name, and that Cardmember must be traveling on the itinerary booked. The average total value of the program benefits is based on prior-year bookings for stays of two nights; the actual value varies. Noon check-in and room upgrade are subject to availability and are provided at check-in; certain room categories are not eligible for upgrade. The type of US$100 Credit and additional amenity (if applicable) varies by property; the credit will be applied to eligible charges up to the amount of the credit. To receive the credit, the eligible spend must be charged to your hotel room. The credit will be applied at check-out. Advance reservations are recommended for certain credits. The type and value of the daily breakfast (for two) varies by property; breakfast will be valued at a minimum of US$60 per room per day. To receive the breakfast credit, the breakfast bill must be charged to your hotel room. The breakfast credit will be applied at check-out. If the cost of Wi-Fi is included in a mandatory property fee, a daily credit of that amount will be applied at check-out. Benefits are applied per room, per stay (with a three-room limit per stay). Back-to-back stays booked by a single Cardmember, Cardmembers staying in the same room or Cardmembers traveling in the same party within a 24-hour period at the same property are considered one stay and are ineligible for additional FHR benefits (“Prohibited Action”). The Hotel Collection
The Hotel Collection (THC) benefits are available for new bookings of two consecutive nights or more made through American Express Travel, Platinum Travel Services, Business Platinum Travel Services or the Dedicated Centurion® Team, with participating properties and are valid only for eligible Preferred Rewards Gold Cardmembers, Preferred Rewards Gold Credit Cardmembers, Business Gold Cardmembers, Platinum Cardmembers, Business Platinum Cardmembers or Centurion® Members and excludes Platinum Credit Companion Cardmembers. International Airline Program
These savings are reduced fares when compared with fares otherwise available to non Platinum Card and Centurion Members through American Express Travel. A maximum of eight tickets can be purchased per Platinum Cardmember per transaction. Cardholders and companions must travel together for the entire trip. Selected airlines only and these airlines reserve the right to change, cancel, or restrict flight operations without notice. International Airline Program (IAP) upgrades or specially negotiated fares may be limited by airlines to certain flights and/or dates (“blackouts”). Membership Rewards® Programme
