Whether you’re shopping online or in-app, using your registered American Express® Card to pay with PayPal at PayPal accepted merchants is now even more rewarding.
From October 5 to November 4, 2021, simply register your Eligible Card before spending to receive a HK$40 statement credit for every HK$600* of cumulative net spending you make on PayPal. Each Registered Card can enjoy this offer up to three times during the Promotion Period, earning you up to HK$120 in statement credits.
This offer is limited to the first 8,000 Eligible Cards that are successfully registered. Only transactions made in Hong Kong Dollars on your Registered Card after successful registration will be in scope for the Promotion.
Statement credits in four easy steps:
Step 1: Register your Eligible American Express Card.
Step 2: Make transactions with PayPal in Hong Kong Dollars online or in-app wherever PayPal is accepted, and make sure your Registered Card is selected as the payment method. (When making payments from the Hong Kong PayPal account, Cardmembers must first link the Registered Card to the Hong Kong PayPal account, then select the linked Registered Card at PayPal checkout. Step 3: Spend a cumulative net amount of at least HK$600 with your Registered Card via PayPal from the date of successful registration to November 4, 2021.
Step 4: Receive a HK$40 statement credit, up to three times.
