Starting from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027, enroll your Platinum Card^{® 1 2} to enjoy an exclusive offer of earning as low as HK$2 = 1 Mile⁷ on Spending in Foreign Currencies³, as well as those with Designated Travel⁴ and Everyday Spend Merchants^{5 6}.

Remarks: 

1. This program is applicable for Basic Cardmembers of The Platinum Card issued by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) in Hong Kong (“Eligible Card”, such holder, "Eligible Cardmember"). American Express^® Peninsula Platinum Card is not applicable to this Program. For the avoidance of doubt, accumulation of spending for the Membership Rewards Program in each Eligible Cardmembers’ account (“Eligible Card Account”) shall also include the spending of Supplementary Cards issued under that Eligible Card Account.
   
2. If an Eligible Cardmember wishes to participate in the Accelerator Program, he/she must successfully enroll with his/her Eligible Card in the Accelerator Program via the designated link during the Promotion Period, and then complete Eligible Transaction(s) with the enrolled Eligible Card during the Promotion Period. If Eligible Cardmembers completed enrollment on or before June 30, 2026 for the previous round of program, they are required to re-register from July 1, 2026. Only Eligible Transactions made with the enrolled Eligible Card on or after July 1, 2026 will be counted towards this Accelerator Program.
3. Offer 1: Extra Five (5) Membership Reward points on Foreign Currencies Spend:During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardmembers who spend in foreign currencies with the enrolled Eligible Card, can earn additional five (5) Membership Rewards points for every HK$1 equivalent spent in foreign currencies, up to the first HK$15,000 billed to enrolled Eligible Card Account per calendar quarter.
4. Offer 2: Extra Seven (7) Membership Reward points on “Designated Travel Merchants”:During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardmembers who spend in Hong Kong Dollars at Designated Travel Merchants with their enrolled Eligible Card, can earn additional seven (7) Membership Rewards points for every HK$1 spent in Hong Kong Dollars, up to the first HK$15,000 billed to the enrolled Eligible Card Account per calendar quarter.
5. Offer 3: Extra Seven (7) Membership Reward points on “Designated Everyday Spend Merchants”During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardmembers who spend in Hong Kong Dollars at Designated Everyday Spend Merchants with their enrolled Eligible Card, can earn additional seven (7) Membership Rewards points for every HK$1 spent in Hong Kong Dollars, up to the first HK$15,000 billed to the enrolled Eligible Card Account per calendar quarter.
6. The list of Airlines under Designated Travel Merchants, Designated Travel Merchants and Designated Everyday Spend Merchants are updated from time to time without prior notice.
7. During the Promotion Period, after successfully completing the enrollment for the Accelerator Program, Cardmembers can get up to 9 Membership Rewards points for (i) every HK$1 equivalent spent in the first HK$15,000 (or equivalent) in foreign currencies billed to the Enrolled Eligible Card ; (ii) every HK$1 spent in the first HK$15,000 in “Designated Travel Merchants” Expenses billed to the Enrolled Eligible Card in Hong Kong dollar; (iii) every HK$1 spent in the first HK$15,000 in “Designated Everyday Spend Merchants” Expenses billed to the Enrolled Eligible Card in Hong Kong dollar during each calendar quarter (as below) (as low as HK$2 = 1 Mile). Conversion rate accurate as of December 2025 and on the basis of 1 mile can be redeemed by 18 Membership Rewards Points.
8. Turbo Program: Eligible Cardmembers can earn additional one (1) Membership Rewards point for every eligible HK$1 equivalent billed to the Eligible Card Account in Hong Kong Dollars or foreign currencies, applicable to the first eligible HK$160,000 billed per Enrollment Year.
