What is Access It?
When you need instant funds, Access It is your go-to Loan on Card service. It’s a quick and convenient Credit Card cash loan solution, with funds debited straight to your FPS-registered bank account, which is perfect for urgent cash needs or personal financing. Convert up to 80% of your available credit limit into an instant loan (maximum HK$300,000Δ#) of your available credit into cash. Whether it’s a last-minute getaway, a home upgrade or an unexpected expense, Access It helps you make it happen.

American Express Access It Frequently Asked Questions
Interest will be incurred. For more information on how much interest or principal is being paid with each installment, please refer to the section "Amex Access It" of your statement. Please note that you at least need to pay your minimum payment stated in your monthly statement, if you fail to make full repayment of the statement balance specified in the statement of account on or before the payment due date, you shall pay a finance charge and other charges on all outstanding balance at the interest rate applicable to the account pursuant to the relevant Cardmember Agreement.
When the Loan-on-Card has been approved and has been posted to your Card account, the available credit limit will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the Loan-on-Card Amount. The available credit limit will be restored if you repay each Installment Amount until the final Installment is settled. And it won't increase your credit limit.
You will receive the details via confirmation email or letter once the Loan-on-Card is approved. The installment amount for each month will also be shown on your Card statement accordingly*.
*The first statement will only consist of interest.
You need to cancel the Loan-on-Card in this case. Once cancelled, the unpaid Loan-on-Card Amount and any accrued interest from the last statement issue date up to the date your cancellation request is being processed which has not been billed for the cancelled Loan-on-Card will be moved to your standard balance.

*Once the Loan-on-Card is approved, we will process your Loan-on-Card and pay the funds to your personal bank account that is eligible to Faster Payment System (FPS) within a day. Most of the Loan-on-Card applications will be processed instantly and some will take up to 5 days upon the submission of the application.
^The equivalent APR is 2.99% and the APR is calculated based on set of assumptions and the actual APR may vary. It is for your ease of reference only. An APR is a reference rate which includes the basic interest rate and other fees and charges of a product expressed as an annualized rate. The above rate is rounded off to the last 2 decimal places.
