The hotel is made up of authentic Alpine farmhouses, rescued from ruin high up in the hills of the French Alps. These buildings were taken apart beam by beam, numbered, and put back together, piece by piece.
Based on traditional simplicity, accommodations are designed to be cocoons of comfort—rooms and suites include lamb-covered cushions and locally milled Bonneval wool with many featuring terraces or balconies. The five- and three-bedroom chalets include a fireplace and full kitchen.
The rustic and refined Le Restaurant Traditionnel features elegant cuisine spotlighting local Alpine flavors. Taste traditional mountain culture with typical Savoy specialties at le Carnotzet. Head up the mountains to a rustic mountain pasture chalet for an outdoor meal at Alpage.
Pure Altitude Spa includes 13 treatment rooms, indoor/outdoor saunas, and whirlpools. The spa’s Body Scrub and Wrap Ritual can include a firming “Cristaux de Neige” Scrub followed by a Cranberry Wrap.
In summer, hike on some the area’s 93 miles of hiking trails. Take a horseback ride for vibrant foliage views in autumn. During winter, take the hotel shuttle to the Chamois gondola lift for a day of skiing.
