Extra 1.2% Cashback Terms and Conditions:

1. This promotion is valid from December 24, 2018 to December 26, 2018 Hong Kong Standard Time, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). 
2. This promotion is only applicable to Blue Cash^SM Credit Card from American Express issued by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) in Hong Kong (“Eligible Card”).
3. During the Promotion Period, Cardmember can earn extra 1.2% Cashback (“Extra Cashback”) on local and overseas spending (“Eligible Transactions”) when paying with the Eligible Card. Charges processed and billed prior to the Promotion Period, American Express Card annual fee, balance transfer, Express Cash and other cash services charges, American Express Travelers Cheque purchases, American Express Gift Cheque or Travel Gift Certificate purchases, charges for dishonored cheques, finance charges, late payment and referral charges, tax refunds from overseas purchases, tax bill payment and any utility gas and electricity payment on Cardmember’s card account and linked accounts are ineligible transactions and will not be counted for the Extra Cashback.
4. Each Eligible Card account can receive a maximum of HK$120 Extra Cashback throughout the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, each basic card account and any related supplementary card account(s) will be treated as one Eligible Card account when calculating Eligible Transactions and Extra Cashback.
5. The Extra Cashback earned from this promotion will be credited directly to basic Cardmember’s account within 8 weeks after the Promotion
   Period (“Redemption Period”). To enjoy the Extra Cashback, the Eligible Card accounts must be valid and in good standing throughout the Promotion Period and Redemption Period. Otherwise American Express reserves the right to cancel the Extra Cashback without any prior notice.
6. Any cancelled/refunded transaction amount within the Promotion Period will be deducted from the total Eligible Transaction amount when the credit of the respective transaction is reflected in the Card statement.
7. Eligible Transactions which are subsequently cancelled, refunded, disputed or unposted will be disqualified for the purpose of this promotion. The Extra Cashback will be clawed back from the concerned Eligible Card accounts if the Extra Cashback was awarded without prior notice.
8. All receipts / sales slips of Eligible Transactions should be shown for supporting when there is necessary.
9. The Extra Cashback is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, other products or services.

12. American Express reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions, suspend or terminate the Extra Cashback at any time without prior notice.
13. In case of any dispute, American Express reserves the right of final decision.
14. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
