General Terms and Conditions

1. The promotion is valid from December 1 to December 31, 2019, both dates inclusive (“the Promotion Period”).
2. Offers are only applicable to City Chain Stores (“City Chain”) in Hong Kong.
3. City Chain is solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice offered to Cardmembers. American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) is not the provider of any of the products and/or services herein and makes no representation or warranty in relation to the same.
4. American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the products/services, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
5. American Express and City Chain reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions, suspend or terminate the offers at any time without prior notice.
6. In case of any dispute, American Express and City Chain reserve the right of final decision.
7. In case of inconsistency between English and Chinese versions, the English version will prevail.

Discount Offer Terms and Conditions

1. This offer is only applicable to American Express Cardmembers who hold American Express^® Cards issued in Hong Kong by American Express (“Eligible American Express Cardmembers”). The US Dollar Card, American Express Corporate Card, American Express^® Gold Business Card, American Express^® Business Card, American Express Business Travel Account, and Corporate Purchasing Card, cards bearing the American Express name, brand or logo issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited or Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong and all American Express Cards issued outside of Hong Kong are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
2. Eligible American Express Cardmembers can enjoy the savings offer 20% off upon purchase of regular-priced items with the Eligible American Express^® Cards. Exclude Grand Seiko, Credor and all smart watches.
3. Payment must be made with the Eligible American Express^® Cards to enjoy the Offer during the Promotion Period.
4. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotional offers, discounted items, selected items, coupons, cash coupons, VIP cards or membership benefits (unless otherwise specified).  
   

Extra 5 Membership Rewards^® Points Terms and Conditions

1. Extra 5 Membership Rewards^® Points Offer  (“Promotion Offer”) is ONLY applicable to Centurion^® Card, The Platinum Card^®, American Express^®  Platinum Credit Card and Membership Rewards Turbo Program enrollees (“Eligible American Express Cards”) but is NOT applicable to Membership Rewards Basic Program enrollees (except American Express Platinum Credit Card), American Express^® Corporate Card, American Express^® Cathay Pacific Elite Credit Card, American Express^® Cathay Pacific Credit Card, American Express^® Cheung Kong Card, Blue Cash^SM Credit Card from American Express, American Express^® I.T Cashback Card and credit cards bearing the American Express name, brand or logo issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited or Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong.
2. For every HK$1 spent with Eligible American Express Cards at City Chain during the Promotion Period, Cardmember will earn extra 5 Membership Rewards points capped at the first HK$50,000 cumulative spending for each Program Account during the Promotion Period at the Participating Merchant Outlets. For the avoidance of doubt, accumulation of spending for the Promotion Offer in each Cardmembers’ account shall also include the spending of Eligible American Express Cards’ supplementary cards issued under that Cardmembers’ account. 
3. Payment must be made with the Eligible American Express^® Cards to enjoy the Promotion Offer during the Promotion Period.
4. Promotion offer is only applicable to an overall cumulative Cardmember spending at maximum of HK$50,000 under each Program Account. The Promotion Offer is not applicable to Cardmember spending from HK$50,001 onwards. 
5. Extra Membership Rewards points earned from this Promotion Offer will be credited directly to basic Cardmember’s account within 8 weeks after the last day of the Promotion Period.
6. Payment must be made with the Eligible American Express Cards to enjoy the Promotion Offer during the Promotion Period. This Promotion Offer does not apply to cancelled / returned transactions, or other transactions as may be determined by City Chain Hong Kong Limited.
7. Adjustments will be made to the Membership Rewards points accrued in a Program Account if there are any credits posted to a Linked Account including those arising from returned goods or services or from billing disputes.
8. The spending cap of American Express Platinum Credit Card Membership Rewards Program and Membership Rewards Turbo Program applies. 
9. The Extra 5 Membership Rewards points program is the benefit of American Express Membership Rewards Program, American Express Membership Rewards Program Terms and Conditions apply.
