- Hotels.com “Additional 8% off for first room booked” promotion ("Promotion") is valid for reservations made from January 1, 2024 12.01am [GMT +8] to December 31, 2024 11:59pm [GMT +8] (“Booking period”), for stays between January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, both dates inclusive (“Stay Period”).
- Fulfilment of the Promotion is the sole responsibility of Hotels.com, L.P.
- The Promotion is applicable for booking hotels at participating destinations and designated properties made through the dedicated landing page at https://www.hotels.com/amexhk (the “Website”).
- The Promotion is only valid for participating properties listed on https://www.hotels.com/amexhk. For full list of non-participating hotels, please visit https://zh.hotels.com/en/lp/b/hotel-exclusions?pos=HCOM_HK&locale=en_HK. Participating properties are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
- All payments must be settled in full with American Express® Cards issued in Hong Kong by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) (“Eligible American Express Cards”) in order to enjoy the Promotion. American Express Cardmembers settling with the US Dollar Card, American Express Business Travel Account or Corporate Purchasing Card are not eligible for the Promotion. Cards bearing the American Express name, brand or logo issued by partners of American Express and all American Express Cards issued outside of Hong Kong are not eligible for the Promotion.
- The Promotion discount is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees, and charges including, without limitation, extra guests, phone calls, cancellation fees, parking, or other charges).
- Cancellation fee may apply and may vary by hotel property, see individual hotel property terms and conditions for details.
- Property rates and amenities are dynamic and can change depending on the property’s availability and dates selected.
- The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or loyalty programs, including the “Collect Nights with Hotels.com™ Rewards” loyalty program offered by Hotels.com. This means that when you book hotel stays under the Promotion, you cannot collect nights for hotel stays made under the Promotion for the purpose of the Hotels.com™ Rewards program.
- The Promotion cannot be exchanged or sold for cash or other products and services.
- The Promotion is non-transferable and non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotions, discounted items, and fixed price items (unless specified).
- To be eligible for the Promotion:-
(a) Cardmember must use the Voucher Code (“AMEX8”) to enjoy the Promotion discount when booking a participating hotel on https://www.hotels.com/amexhk with Eligible Card. Prior to the completion of the booking, Cardmember will be able to check if the Voucher Code (“AMEX8”) is valid for the respective properties in their booking. The Voucher Code (“AMEX8”) is only applicable to the first room in the booking.
(b) Cardmember must make full and upfront payment of hotel charges (prepaid stays) at the time of booking on https://www.hotels.com/amexhk. If an Eligible Cardmember chooses to only partially pay and/or pay a deposit for the hotel room charges and/or pay the hotel room charges directly to the hotel during or upon the completion of the Cardmember’s stay, the Promotion will not be applicable. - The Voucher Code (“AMEX8”) cannot be used for:
(a) Package Bookings (Flight + Hotel)
(b) Bookings made through Group Travel Services
(c) Bookings paid for at the hotel
(d) Bookings paid for in a foreign currency (Foreign currency means any currency other than Hong Kong Dollars.)
(e) Bookings at a non-participating hotels
(f) Bookings made prior to receipt of this voucher code - Cardmember may be asked to present the Eligible American Express Card used to make the online purchase for verification purposes during check-in.
- Discounts applied may be nulled if there are any reservation changes made after purchase confirmation. Cardmember may be required to be pay for the reservation difference, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges (if applicable).
- Hotel rooms are subject to availability and minimum night stays might be required and varies by properties. Other rules, restrictions, and blackout dates may apply. Please refer to the specific participating hotel terms and conditions for details.
- Hotels.com is solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice offered to Cardmembers. American Express is not the provider of any of the products and/or services herein and makes no representation or warranty in relation to the same.
- American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the products/services, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
