What will my business be required to pay each month?

Depending on which American Express Business Card you choose, you could have the option to pay in full or carry a balance each billing cycle. For traditional credit cards, a minimum amount is due and any unpaid balance at the end of a billing period will incur interest charges. For Cards with the Pay Over Time option (Business Platinum, Business Gold, Business Green Rewards), Card Members have the option to carry a balance with interest on eligible charges of $100 or more. These purchases that meet the threshold made by the Basic Card Member or any Additional/ Employee Card Member will automatically be included in a Pay Over Time balance each month. At the end of each billing cycle, the Card Member can choose to pay the statement balance in full without interest, pay the minimum amount due, or pay any amount in between with interest‡. Plum Card Members can earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on the portion of your balance that you pay within 10 days of your statement closing date. There's no cap on how much you can earn and no purchase categories - just savings applied to your next statement.‡ Minimum Payment Due must be paid by the Payment Due Date.
