Protection for at home and abroad
Coverage for when your checked baggage is delayed for 6 hours or more. When you charge your airline tickets to your Card, you could receive up to $1,000 (combined maximum with Flight Delay Insurance) for reasonable and necessary emergency purchases for essential clothing and other items within four days of arrival at your destination.
Coverage for when your flight is delayed or you are denied boarding for up to 4 hours or more and no alternate transportation is made available. When you charge your airline tickets to your Card, you could receive up to $1,000 (combined maximum with Baggage Delay Insurance) for necessary and reasonable accommodations, restaurant expenses, and essential items purchased within the period of the flight delay or denied boarding.
When your checked or carry-on baggage and personal effects are in transit, this coverage could protect you for loss or damage up to $1,000 per trip for all insured person(s) combined if you charge your airline tickets to your Card.
When you charge your accommodations to your Card, you could receive up to $1,000 in coverage against the loss of most personal items (excluding cash) if your accommodation is broken into.
You could be covered for the theft, loss, and/or damage of your rental car with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of up to $85,000 for rentals of 48 days or less when you charge the full cost of your rental to your Card. To use this coverage, simply decline the Collision Damage Waiver, Loss Damage Waiver, or similar option offered by the rental agency.
You can be covered up to $500,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance when you fully charge your plane, train, ship, or bus tickets to your Card.

1. The Centurion® Lounge – Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to all locations of The Centurion Lounge. American Express® Corporate Gold Cards and American Express® Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for complimentary access. Please visit thecenturionlounge.com or call the number on the back of your Card for more information on individual lounge access policies. Guest access policies vary by location and are subject to change.
Children under 2 years of age are not considered companions and will be admitted free of charge, provided an accompanying parent or guardian is able to produce a “lap infant” boarding pass or proof of age. To access The Centurion Lounge, the Corporate Platinum Cardmember must present The Centurion Lounge agent with the following upon each visit: his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and a government-issued I.D. Failure to present this documentation may result in access being denied. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will only be granted access to the lounge within 3 hours of boarding pass departure time. This does not apply to Cardmembers with a same-day connecting flight who can access the lounge any time prior to departure of their connecting flight with proof of boarding pass. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will not be granted access to the lounge with a boarding pass for a flight that has landed as the final destination. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will not be compensated for changes in locations, rates or policies. The Corporate Platinum Cardmember must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or legal guardian. 3. Plaza Premium Lounges – Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounges. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers may bring in one (1) travel companion as a complimentary guest. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). International Plaza Premium Lounges, maximum of 2-hour stay. House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time. 4. Delta Sky Club® – The Cardmember must present their valid Corporate Platinum Card, government-issued I.D. and boarding pass to the Delta Sky Club ambassador. Boarding pass must show a reservation for a same-day Delta-operated flight departing from or arriving at the airport in which the Delta Sky Club is located. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers travelling on a same-day Delta-operated flight with Basic Economy (E) fare tickets will not have access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go. Name on boarding pass must match name on the Card. Eligible Platinum Cardmembers on departing flights can only access the Delta Sky Club within 3 hours of their flight’s scheduled departure time. During a connection between Delta-operated flights on the same ticket, eligible Cardmembers may use the Delta Sky Club in their connecting airport at any time during the layover. Round-trip same-day travel is not considered a layover. Delta reserves the right to limit access for non-revenue flyers at any Delta Sky Club. Supplementary Gold Cardmembers on Business Platinum Card accounts, and Supplementary Gold Cardmembers on Consumer Platinum Card accounts, are not eligible for The Global Lounge Collection benefit. Access to Delta Sky Club partner lounges is not permitted. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to the lounge. Eligible Cardmembers must adhere to all Delta Sky Club House Rules while accessing participating airport clubs.

Eligible Cardmembers may bring up to two guests or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21 years of age) into the Delta Sky Club subject to the most current Delta Sky Club access and pricing policies, and must use their valid Card as the payment method for guest access. 5. Airspace Lounges – Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, government-issued I.D. and confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. The Cardmember may bring up to two companions into the club as complimentary guests per visit. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Airspace Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Airspace Lounge locations are subject to change.
6. Escape Lounges – Cardmembers receive complimentary access to any U.S. location of the Escape Lounges. Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and government-issued I.D. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Cardmembers may bring either (i) up to two guests or (ii) immediate family members, which are spouse or domestic partner and all children under the age of 18, as complimentary guests. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Escape Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Escape Lounge locations are subject to change.
7. Priority Pass™ – These Terms and Conditions govern Corporate Platinum Card participation in and use of the Priority Pass program. Priority Pass is an independent airport lounge access program. At any visit to a Priority Pass lounge that admits guests, you may bring in one (1) guest for no charge. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will be charged for any additional guests. Additional accompanying guests are subject to a usage fee at the prevailing rate, which is subject to change without prior notice. Some lounges do not admit guests. By enrolling in Priority Pass, you agree that you will be responsible for any additional accompanying guest visits and that your Corporate Platinum Card will be automatically charged after you have signed for the additional guest visit and it has been reported to Priority Pass by the participating lounge. Additionally, American Express will verify your Card account number and provide updated Card account information to Priority Pass. Priority Pass will use this information to fulfill on the Priority Pass program. Once your enrolment has been processed, Priority Pass will send you a welcome package, Priority Pass card and a list of participating lounges. For details on how Priority Pass uses your personal information, please refer to their privacy policy at prioritypass.com. Once enrolled, Corporate Platinum members whose Card account is not cancelled may access participating Priority Pass lounges by presenting their Priority Pass card and airline boarding pass for same-day travel, or by scanning their Priority Pass membership using the Priority Pass mobile app (as applicable). In some lounges, Priority Pass member must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Priority Pass members must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Amenities may vary among airport lounge locations. Conference rooms, where available, may be reserved for a nominal fee. Priority Pass lounge partners and locations are subject to change. All Priority Pass members must adhere to the Priority Pass Conditions of Use, which will be sent to you with your membership package, and can be viewed at prioritypass.com. Upon receipt of your enrolment information, Priority Pass will send your Priority Pass card and membership package, which you should receive within 10–14 business days. If you have not received the Priority Pass card after 14 business days, please contact Corporate Cardmember Services using the number on the back of your Corporate Platinum Card. Please note, Corporate Gold and Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for membership. Priority Pass non-lounge airport experiences such as airport dining credits are only offered in a few select locations. Select locations are subject to change. 8. Executive Lounges™ by Swissport – Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to Executive Lounges by Swissport in Canada. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 21, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). 9. Toronto Pearson Priority Security Lane – American Express Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers with an eligible Card are entitled to access the Pearson Priority Lanes (“Priority Lanes”). The Priority Lanes are serviced by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority. Priority Lanes are located at select departure areas at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport in Terminals 1 & 3. Access to a Pearson Priority Lane is available to eligible Canadian Cardmembers and companions travelling on the same itinerary. The eligible Cardmember can request single-use QR Codes online by visiting go.amex/yyz. For assistance, please call the phone number on the back of your Card. Access to the Priority Lanes is intended for the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember and a reasonable number of persons travelling with them on the same itinerary. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a Cardmember (or Supplementary Cardmember, as applicable) is not using this benefit as intended, we reserve the right to revoke your access to the benefit or to cancel your Card account. All passengers departing from Pearson International Airport, including those accessing the Priority Lane, are required to comply with airport security and customs screening requirements. Priority Lanes access is subject to change or cancellation at any time and additional terms and conditions apply.
10. Toronto Pearson 15% Parking Discount – 15% discount off the cost of parking (including taxes) will be provided as a credit to your Corporate Platinum Card statement. The parking lot is subject to availability. 11. International Airline Program – The discount applies to the base airfare of the ticket(s). All ticket(s) are subject to government imposed taxes, fees and airline-imposed fuel, security surcharges and mandatory non-refundable fees. All ticket(s) purchased through the program will have all valid fare rules and restrictions apply. Tickets will only be refundable if the ticket purchased is in a refundable fare class. Airlines reserve the right to modify fare rules and program participation prior to booking. Tickets are non-transferable or endorsable. To receive the discount, the purchase of the qualifying First, Business, or Premium Economy Class ticket(s) on a participating airline must be made over the phone through Platinum Travel or online at americanexpress.ca/travel and paid in full with an American Express Card in the Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s name. Travel must originate in and return to select Canadian gateways. One-way travel permitted on some airlines. 12. Premium Airport Transfer Service – To be eligible, Basic Corporate Platinum Cardmembers must book an eligible round-trip first class or business class flight with a minimum 1-night stay on the same itinerary through Platinum Card Travel Service and pay with their Corporate Platinum Card. Bookings must be made at least four hours prior to pick up time. Subject to availability. Booking changes or cancellations must be made with Platinum Card Travel Service. Please provide Platinum Card Travel Service notice of more than one hour prior to your scheduled pick up time of any change or cancellation. Failure to advise Platinum Card Travel Service of a change or cancellation within the minimum required time frame will count as one complimentary transfer usage. The Premium Airport Transfer Service must be within a 50-kilometer radius of the airport. Additional charges may apply and will need to be paid by the Corporate Platinum Cardmember if the car transfer goes over the 50-kilometer maximum. The maximum number of passengers and luggage allowed will be subject to vehicle availabilities. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers can receive up to 6 complimentary one-way transfers per calendar year. Cardmembers are limited to 4 one-way transfers per qualified round-trip flight and hotel booking. Locations where this service is available are subject to change without notice. 13. Fine Hotels and Resorts – Valid only for new Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) bookings made through Corporate Platinum Travel Service. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers must book their travel through Corporate Platinum Travel Service. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers are not eligible to book on americanexpress.ca/FHR. Payment must be made with an American Express Card in the Canadian Corporate Platinum Cardmember's name. Available for Canadian Cardholders of The Corporate Platinum Card from American Express. Corporate Platinum Cardmember must travel on the itinerary booked under FHR reservations to be eligible for benefits described. Limit of one (1) benefit package per room per stay. Benefit package can include Noon check-in, Room upgrade, Daily breakfast for two people, guaranteed 4:00 pm late check-out, plus a unique property benefit. Noon check-in and room upgrade based on availability and provided at check-in. Certain room categories are not eligible for room upgrades. Call Corporate Platinum Travel Service for details. The type and value of the daily breakfast (for two) varies by property. The actual value of the daily breakfast will be communicated at the time of check-in. Travel selections are based on available space and are subject to terms and conditions of travel suppliers. In order to redeem points for any travel booking, the Membership Rewards Program account must be active and the Card must be in good standing. When you redeem points for an eligible travel booking, the full cost of the flight, including taxes, fees and carrier surcharges will be charged to your Card. Within 10 business days from the date of booking, you will receive a statement credit for the amount you redeemed. 21. Merchandise Availability: All merchandise rewards are subject to availability. If an order is not available, a similar item of equal value or greater will be substituted whenever possible. Merchandise Delivery: Please allow 2–4 weeks for delivery. Cardmembers are required to provide a signature when rewards are delivered. Amex Bank of Canada cannot be responsible for the acts or omissions of suppliers, and cannot guarantee successful fulfillment of Cardmember requests in all instances.
24. Spending Limits – American Express reserves the right to refuse to authorize any charge. Some Corporate Cards may carry specific usage guidelines and limits at the request of your company or at the discretion of American Express.
