Membership Rewards®
Membership Rewards points are earned on every full £1 spent and charged, per transaction. Membership Rewards points are not earned on interest, fees (including default fees), balance transfers, cash advances (including transactions treated as cash), loading of pre paid Cards, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases or foreign exchange transactions; and any amounts that are subsequently re-credited to your Card Account by way of refunds. With the double Membership Rewards bonus, in any calendar month you will now receive 10,000 Membership Reward bonus points once you have spent a cumulative £10,000 in that month. The Bonus Points will be transferred to your Membership Rewards account within 30 days after the end of the qualifying period if the spend requirement has been achieved and can be viewed on your Card Account statement. You will continue to earn one Membership Rewards point on eligible purchases in excess of £10,000 for each pound you spend on your Card for the rest of that month. Employee Cards
Employee Cards – also known as Supplementary Cards – allow you to share the benefits of your American Express Card with others close to you. You will be the main Cardmember and you will be liable for all charges made on the Employee Card(s). Cardmembers are entitled to one complimentary Business Platinum Card and up to 19 complimentary Business Gold Cards. Employee Cardmembers must be aged 18 or over. Written details available upon request. Approval subject to status and Terms and Conditions.
Cashflow
The full 54 days to pay is obtained only if you spend on the first day of the new statement period and repay the balance in full on the due date.
Indeed for Employers
Benefit Limit is capped at £75 in Statement Credit; per every 3 months of the calendar year. The benefit value will reset on 1 Jan, 1 Apr, 1 Jul, 1 Oct of every calendar year until 31/12/2026. You cannot carry any unused benefit value from one period into the next. The benefit only applies to online purchases made at uk.indeed.com. Any purchases not made directly with Indeed are excluded. Excludes Indeed Events, Indeed Hire, Indeed Flex, Resume.com SimplyHired and any Indeed job seeker services. The Benefit is only available to the Primary American Express Business Platinum Cardmember using their American Express Business Platinum Card. Transactions made with a Supplementary Card or Additional Card are not eligible for this Benefit. Fine Hotels + Resorts
Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) program benefits are available for new bookings made through American Express Travel with participating properties and are valid only for eligible Cardmembers who hold the American Express® Business Platinum Card. Supplementary Business Platinum Cardmembers are also eligible for FHR program benefits. Bookings must be made using an eligible Card and must be paid using that Card, or another American Express® Card, in the eligible Cardmember’s name, and that Cardmember must be traveling on the itinerary booked. The average total value of the program benefits is based on prior-year bookings for stays of two nights; the actual value varies. Noon check-in and room upgrade are subject to availability and are provided at check-in; certain room categories are not eligible for upgrade. The type of experience credit and additional amenity (if applicable) varies by property; the experience credit will be applied to eligible charges up to the amount of the experience credit. To receive the experience credit, the eligible spend must be charged to your hotel room. The experience credit will be applied at check-out. Advance reservations are recommended for certain experience credits. The type and value of the daily breakfast (for two) varies by property; breakfast will be valued at a minimum of US$60 per room per day. To receive the breakfast credit, the breakfast bill must be charged to your hotel room. The breakfast credit will be applied at check-out. If the cost of Wi-Fi is included in a mandatory property fee, a daily credit of that amount will be applied at check-out. Benefits are applied per room, per stay (with a three-room limit per stay). Hotel Collection T&Cs
The Hotel Collection (THC) benefits are available for new bookings of two consecutive nights or more made through American Express Travel (americanexpress.com/en-gb/travel/), Platinum Travel & Dining Concierge, Business Platinum Travel & Dining Concierge or the Dedicated Centurion® Team, with participating properties and are valid only for eligible Preferred Rewards Gold Cardmembers, Preferred Rewards Gold Credit Cardmembers, Platinum Cardmembers or Centurion® Members and excludes Platinum Credit Companion Cardmembers. Bookings must be made using an eligible Card and must be paid using that Card, or another American Express Card, in the eligible Card Member's name, and that Card Member must be traveling on the itinerary booked. Hilton Honors
Enrollment through American Express® is required to receive the benefit. Business Platinum Cardmembers and Additional Business Platinum Cardmembers on the Business Platinum Account can enroll in complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status in the Benefits section of their americanexpress.com Online Account or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Until 31 December 2025, Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to four complimentary pre-book entitlements in 2025 per eligible Card.
From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027, Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to eight complimentary pre-book entitlements each calendar year.
Pre-booking slots are subject to availability. Cardmembers can pre-book up to 3 (three) months in advance of their lounge visit. Pre-book entitlements must be booked, and the visit completed between 30 July 2025 and 31 December 2027.
Unused prebook entitlements are forfeited at the end of each calendar year and do not carry over to the next calendar year. Subject to the cancellation terms below, and availability, Cardmembers may use a current calendar year’s pre-book entitlement to make a booking for visit in following calendar year.
The pre-book entitlements can be redeemed through the Priority Pass App or Website at participating UK lounges. Visit the Priority Pass site here (prioritypass.com/pre-book-entitlements-platinum-amex-uk) for more information including participating lounges.
Each pre-book entitlement can only be used for one person. (For example, one Cardmember and their one guest pre-booking a lounge visit would require two pre-book entitlements for that visit).
Pre-book entitlements must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance of the time booked for the lounge visit. If a pre-booking is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance of the visit or there is a no show, any pre-book entitlements used will not be reinstated.
Pre-book entitlements cancelled at least 48 hours in advance of the date of the lounge visit will be reinstated. However, a reinstatement will not be applied if the validity period of entitlement has expired at the time of cancellation. (For example, if a Cardmember uses a 2025 pre-book entitlement on 5 December 2025 to pre-book a lounge visit on 30 January 2026 and cancels the pre-booking on 5 January 2026, the entitlement will not be reinstated.)
Cardmembers pre-booking for multiple people must still pay the standard additional fee per guest outside of the Priority Pass benefit guest policy specified in the Priority Pass terms and conditions.
Eligible Cardmembers must book and travel with any guests and present their Priority Pass Membership Card (plastic or digital) at the point of lounge entry, along with Booking Confirmation email, Boarding Pass and Photo ID, for verification purposes. All complimentary pre-book entitlements must be booked through the Priority Pass App or Website utilising an eligible American Express Priority Pass Membership. To access your pre-book entitlements within the Priority Pass App or website, you must create an online account. Upon login, Cardmembers will need to navigate to individual listings of participating lounge(s) and select Pre-book to view/ use entitlements.
