American Express conducted the China Payments Survey to better understand the key pain points in trade payments for Hong Kong businesses trading with Mainland China, and to measure the true costs of those challenges. We used the data collected to produce a white-paper, titled Navigating China’s Cross-Border Payments: Opportunities and Challenges for Hong Kong Businesses.
Limited visibility on payments, seasonal fluctuations and resource-intensive manual processes reduce the effectiveness of Hong Kong SMEs and create unnecessary headwinds in an already challenging business environment. We detail how many of these issues are best addressed with electronic payment solutions and automated processes.
We hope that this report will give Hong Kong SMEs better insight into how they can improve the efficiencies of their international trading activity.
