Emergency Home, Roadside and Local Medical Assistance

When something goes wrong at home or on the road, it's more than anuisance – it's an unexpected expense. But not anymore.

Emergency Home Assistance

Our Emergency Home Assistance* is on hand for those times when you need help the most. We'll even provide complimentary hotel accommodation for you and your family at up to HK$2,000 per night for up to 2 nights, should you ever have to vacate your home due to fire or flood. We'll also arrange and pay the first HK$1,000 of cost for each of the following:

  • Electrical Assistance to fix failure of the main switch
  • Plumbing Assistance for clogged water supplies or water draining system, and leaking water pipes (excluding taps)
  • Locksmith Assistance if you accidentally lock yourself out from your residence
  • Repair of air conditioning units in the event of failure (excluding freezing agent or leakage)

Roadside Assistance

With Roadside Assistance*, there's nothing to worry about at all. Whatever the time of day or night, The Platinum Card Service will arrange the following roadside assistance:

  • Towing to your selected garage and pay for the first HK$750 of costs (excluding parts and accessories)
  • Arrange a taxi and reimburse fares for you and any passengers to return home, if repairs cannot be completed the same day
  • Pay for you to return to collect your vehicle after the repairs are completed

Local Medical Assistance

In addition, you can contact a medical professional anytime, who understands your situation and can advise on how best to take care of yourself. Through our Local Medical Assistance*, medical staff are standing by around the clock to provide you with general medical advice or referrals to physicians or specialists over the phone.
