As a Platinum Card Member , enjoy access to savings on select first class, business, and premium economy tickets with participating airlines on designated international flights booked through American Express Travel. Plus, earn airline miles2 on these bookings as you typically would.

- The International Airline Program (“IAP”) is available only for the following cards issued by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) in Hong Kong:
(a) Basic Card of Centurion Card®, The Platinum Card® and American Express Peninsula Platinum Card
(b) Supplementary Cards holding Supplementary Platinum Cards issued under The Platinum Card or American Express Peninsula Platinum Card accounts; and Supplementary Centurion and Supplementary Platinum Cards issued under Centurion Card accounts (“Eligible Card”, such holders, “Eligible Cardmembers”). - The IAP is for savings on select first class, business class, and premium economy tickets with participating airlines on designated international flights booked through American Express.
- The IAP may also be available for savings on select economy tickets with limited participating airlines on designated international flights booked through American Express.
- Participating Airlines and ticket availability are subject to change without prior notice.
- Bookings must be made by an Eligible Cardmember using an Eligible Card in their name for themself and up to seven passengers traveling on the same itinerary.
- The IAP is available for round trip adult tickets. All other journey and passenger types may be excluded. Routes may vary by airline and are subject to change.
- Savings are applied to the base airfare.
- Savings do not apply to applicable government-imposed taxes and fees or any applicable airline-imposed fees (including baggage, seat selection or other airline ancillary fees that are not included with the ticket).
- Savings are not combinable with other airline offers unless otherwise indicated.
- Lower fares may be available elsewhere.
- Airline fare rules and restrictions apply and are subject to change at the discretion of the airline without prior notice.
- American Express and the Participating Airlines reserve the right to modify or revoke airline discount benefits at any time without notice if we or they determine, in our or their sole discretion, that you may have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with your airline discount benefits. Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.
- Tickets are non-transferable; name changes are not permitted.
- Changes to tickets (if permitted) may incur an airline-imposed change fee, and/or any difference in fare. Please check with Participating Airlines.
- Exchanges may not be permitted. Please check the ticket’s terms and conditions.
- Cancellations of tickets (if permitted) may incur an airline-imposed cancellation fee.
- To qualify for IAP upgrades and/or specially negotiated fares, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
(a) The journey must start and end at the same port as designated by the Participating Airlines and must be completed within the period during which the selected airline participates in the IAP. Applicable travel dates will be advised at the time of booking;
(b) IAP tickets must be booked through American Express and paid in full using a valid Eligible Card that is in good standing;
(c) The Eligible Cardmembers who purchase the ticket(s) must be one of the travellers; and
(d) IAP tickets are non-transferable and non-endorsable. - Participating Airlines are solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice offered to Cardmembers. American Express is not the provider of any of these products and/or services herein and makes no representation or warranty in relation to the same.
- American Express acts solely as an agent for travel service providers and does not own, operate, or control any airline or other means of transportation. American Express shall not be liable for any acts, omissions, or service deficiencies of airlines or other service providers, including but not limited to accidents, personal injuries, delays, changes to routes or itineraries, or loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- American Express strongly recommends that travellers to insure themselves against travel risks. Travellers are solely responsible for ensuring that they hold valid travel documents and for complying with all applicable health, immigration, customs, currency, and other laws and regulations of any country they enter or attempt to enter.
- American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any of the Benefit, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

- American Express reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate these Terms and Conditions and/or the IAP at any time due to business reasons, changes in contractual arrangements with partners, and/or unforeseen circumstances.
- Should any dispute arise, the decision of American Express and Participating Airlines shall be final.
- In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
