Additional Cards
An Additional Card can be linked to your American Express Card, to be used by family or a friend. It’s a great way to earn more Airpoints Dollars as points earned on transactions on Additional Cards are credited to the primary Card Member’s account.2
The Airpoints Dollars you earn are transferred directly to your Airpoints Account each month and can be redeemed for domestic or international flights with Air New Zealand3. Plus you can also redeem Airpoints Dollars for accommodation, car hire, holidays, at the Airpoints Store and much more.

1. Airpoints are earned in accordance with the American Express Airpoints Card Terms and Conditions. Exclusions apply. Eligible purchases do not include cash advances, interest, balance transfers, fees and charges for Traveller's Cheques, Gift Cheques and Foreign currencies or annual Card fees or other fees and charges billed to the account. 2. Supplementary Card Members must be 18 years of age or older. The primary Card Member will be liable for all spending on Supplementary Cards.
3. Airpoints may only be redeemed for flights that are ticketed and operated by Air New Zealand and certain airline partner codeshare flights. The fullir New Zealand Airpoints partners is available here. Third party taxes, levies or surcharges are additional unless the fare is a New Zealand domestic fare.
