- Essential Plan cover countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Guam, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu.
- Standard Plan covers all countries except USA and Canada.
- Exclusion Countries for all plans: Iran, Syria, Cuba, North Korea, North Sudan.
- A maximum of 180 days coverage per trip with the Single Trip and a maximum of 90 days coverage per trip with the Annual Policy.
- Sum insured for person aged 66 – 70 year-old and 6 months – 14 year-old will be reduced to 50% of sum insured specified in the table.
- Medical expenses are limited to 2,000,000 baht for persons aged over 65 years old. This product is available to American Express Cardmembers until they reach the age of 70. Dependents of American Express Cardmembers must be aged between 6 months and 23 years to be eligible for the product benefits.
- Coverage is intended for overseas travel and not in Thailand.
- Suicide or attempted suicide or self –inflicted injury.
- Any law, prohibition, or regulations by the government of any country.
- Loss or damage related to drug addiction or genetic disorder.
- Injury while the Covered Person is taking part in any form of racing in a vehicle or boat. Including horse racing, ski racing, jet-skiing, skating, boxing, parachute jumping (except for the purpose of life saving) and while getting on or off or traveling in a hot-air balloon or glider.
- Injury while the Covered Person is driving or traveling on a motorcycle.
- Pre-existing conditions
- Dental treatment, except for first aid after an accident. This does not include the expense for dental reconstructive treatment, orthodontics, crowns, scaling or polishing, filling, or dentures.
- Cancellations by the carrier or tour operator.
- Any reason known to the Covered Person prior to applying for this insurance.
