TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These benefits are valid for new Cardmembers of the THAI American Express® Platinum Credit Card issued by American Express (Thai) Co., Ltd. (“American Express”) who meet all of the following criteria:
- Apply for the Card via an online application and receive approval between 1 March – 31 May 2026.
- Pay the first-year annual fee of Baht 5,350 (inclusive of VAT).
Eligible New Cardmembers will receive a total of 10,000 BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles, consisting of:
- 5,000 BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles (“First Spend BONUS”)
Awarded upon the first eligible spend of any amount made within the first 30 days of Cardmembership. The BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles will be credited to the qualifying Cardmember’s Royal Orchid Plus membership account within 6–8 weeks following the month in which the annual fee has been paid and the spending requirement has been fulfilled. - 5,000 BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles (“First Flight BONUS”)
Awarded upon completion of the first international flight flown, excluding fares booked in classes V/S/K/W/G/L/O/I/X/E/N/R, departing from Bangkok or with Bangkok as the destination. The BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles will be credited to the qualifying Cardmember’s Royal Orchid Plus membership account within 6–8 weeks following the month of the first international flight. This benefit is provided by Thai Airways International, which reserves the right to cancel or amend the Terms and Conditions of this benefit at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- If you hold other Cards issued by American Express (Thai) Co., Ltd., you are required to pay the annual fee for each Card in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions of each Card. For more details, please visit www.americanexpress.com/en-th.
- The credit limit of your new THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card will be shared across all your existing American Express Cards (if any). The total combined credit limit will not exceed five (5) times your average monthly income, in accordance with the regulations of the Bank of Thailand.
- Spending made by Supplementary Cardmember(s) will be included in the calculation of the spending criteria.
- If the Cardmember ceases to be a Cardmember and/or is deemed by American Express not to be in good standing within the first 12 months of Cardmembership for any reason whatsoever, American Express reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deduct the awarded BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles or to charge the Basic Cardmember’s account for the equivalent value of the BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles received, on a prorated basis.
- In the event that an Eligible Cardmember has received the Card Benefits and subsequently cancels the Cardmembership within the same Cardmembership year, American Express reserves the right not to refund any prorated annual Cardmembership fee.
- The Card annual fee charge will not be included in the calculation of the spending criteria.
- To qualify for the Card Benefits, the Card account must be in good standing and must not be canceled for any reason.
- These Card Benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers applicable to the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card.
- BONUS Royal Orchid Plus miles cannot be refunded, transferred, redeemed for cash, or exchanged for other benefits in kind.
- American Express reserves the right to substitute the Card Benefits with other benefits and to terminate or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- In the event of any dispute arising from these Card Benefits, the decision of American Express shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
- In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English and the Thai versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
