Eligibility
You qualify for this Card if:
- You are 18 years or older
- You are a Hong Kong or Macau resident / citizen
Welcome Offer Terms and Conditions apply.
- Only valid for approved American Express Platinum® Credit Card applications that are received by American Express International, Inc. (“American Express”) between May 1, 2026 and July 31, 2026 (both dates inclusive). Basic Cardmembers have to submit all required valid documents within 7 days from the date of application submission.
- Aggregate spending of Basic and/or Supplementary Cards upon Basic Card approval.
- Including 3 points earned under the American Express Platinum Credit Card Membership Rewards® Program. Membership Rewards Program Terms and Conditions apply.
- Conversion rate accurate as of April 2026, on the basis of HK$100 cash voucher can be redeemed by 30,000 points and HK$10 Pay with Points can be redeemed by 3,000 points, and in which 1,000 miles can be redeemed by 18,000 Membership Rewards® points.
- Promotion period is until December 31, 2026. Capped at extra 30,000 points in total per Eligible Card account for each calendar month during the Promotion Period at the Participating Merchants. Exclusion, Terms and Conditions apply.
- The earn rate of 3 points for every HK$1 spent is applicable to the first HK$120,000 spent during each program period. From HK$120,001 and onwards, every HK$1 spent will entitle to 1 point.
