Practice Makes Perfect, Inc.
Ivy league-educated inner-city public school graduate who spends his time paying it forward. Currently, I am working on building the network to redefine the summer learning experience for low-income children nationwide. I received over $300,000 in scholarships and aid to make my college education possible. Now, I am trying to make my college education experience possible for other economically disadvantaged children. Since graduating from Cornell, we have raised over $1M in philanthropic support to further our work with Practice Makes Perfect. In the last year, our work has been featured in over a dozen media outlets including USA Today, The New York Times, Forbes, and The Atlantic. I enjoy speaking about the following topics: Educational Inequity & The Achievement Gap | Entrepreneurship & Social Entrepreneurship | Starting a Company in College | Early Fundraising for Nonprofits | Public Service | Networking | College Admissions | Life Insurance | Interviewing
