Ryan is the CEO and Co-Founder of VerbalizeIt, the company that delivers instant access to a global community of translators. He is a 2012 graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he double majored in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Ryan is a 2012 alumnus of the TechStars business accelerator in Boulder, Colorado. Prior to enrolling at Wharton, Ryan was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Ryan joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 in the firm's Special Situations Group where he focused on middle market private equity transactions and the operational management of the portfolio companies. Prior to joining the private equity business, Ryan worked on structured transactions and alternative energy investing. In 2006, Ryan also founded Quiet Ember, a web-based platform matching the college athletic recruiting needs of high school student-athletes and college coaches. Ryan is an endurance enthusiast who has enjoyed competing in an Ironman triathlon and a marathon. Ryan enjoys investing in and launching new business ventures, trading stocks and foreign exchange and investing in real estate.
