1. Terms and Conditions for 25% MORE BONUS miles
• In this brochure, reference is made for convenience to “earning Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) miles” in situations where Cardmembers actually earn THAI American Express Platinum points. *THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers who spend Baht 100,000 or more during the period Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2013 (“the qualifying period”) will receive a Bonus of 25% more ROP miles which shall be calculated from ROP miles awards on spend within the qualifying period subject to the following Terms and Conditions. *Only THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers whose accounts with American Express are in good standing, and who do not breach any of the Terms and Conditions of American Express Cardmembership throughout the qualifying period and up to the day their account is credited with the Bonus miles will be eligible for the offer. *The Bonus ROP miles will be calculated from ROP miles awarded for spending on goods and services. Bonus ROP miles awarded pursuant to other promotions will not count towards the 25% Bonus ROP miles. 4. A "year of Cardmembership" means the period of one calendar year commencing on the day your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card is issued, or the anniversary of its issuance, as the case may be. Terms and Conditions apply. For example, your THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card is issued on 20th March 2007, your first calendar year will start from March 2007 and will be end on 31st march 2008. For the second year onwards, the calendar year will start from 1st April and end on March of the following year.

5. The first spend benefits are a onetime exclusive offer for THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers. Cardmember will no longer be entitled to these benefits when re-applying for the card. Royal Orchid Plus bonus miles will be credited to qualifying Cardmember within 6-8 weeks following the month of fulfilling the requirement.

6. Valid on all paid fares, excluding fares in booking classes G/V/W. The first flight benefits are a one time exclusive offer for THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers. Cardmember will no longer be entitled to these benefits when re-applying for the card. Royal Orchid Plus bonus miles will be credited to qualifying Cardmember within 6-8 weeks following the month of fulfilling the requirement.

7. Terms and Conditions for Fast Track to Royal Orchid Plus Gold Status

• Fast Track to Gold Status is a exclusive one time offer to THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers who hold Royal Orchid Plus Silver or Basic status at the time of card approval.
• On card approval, the eligible Cardmember must meet the following criteria within a 12 month period to attain Fast Track Gold status:
- Travel must be on THAI operated international flights on paid fares in Royal First Class or Royal Silk Class.
- This offer is eligible for paid tickets in booking classes F/A/C/D only
- 25,000 Qualifying Miles or 20 international sectors within the defined 12 month period.
- On fulfilling the criteria, Cardmembers will attain Royal Orchid Plus Gold status for a full 2 year term
with subsequent Gold status renewals subject to Royal Orchid Plus membership evaluations.
• This is a one time offer that is non-extendable and non-transferable.

8. Terms and Conditions for 50% Discount on Mileage Redemption for Companion Tickets

• 50% discount on mileage redemption tickets can be redeemed only on THAI operated international flights in conjunction with paid tickets in Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class departing from Bangkok only.
• This offer is only eligible for Booking Class F/A/C/D.
• 50% discounted mileage redemption tickets can be redeemed in Thailand and issued at THAI ticketing offices in Thailand only.
• 50% discount on mileage redemption ticket can only be issued upon presentation of an eligible paid ticket and THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card at any THAI ticketing offices. In absence of ticket owner, authorization letter, copy of THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card and copy of the paid ticket are required.
• Cardmembers can redeem for companion tickets for their Award Nominees and must miles will be deducted from their own Royal Orchid Plus account.
• Only one redemption ticket is permitted with one eligible paid round trip ticket.
• Cardmember and Companion must travel on the same flight and in the same class departing from Bangkok. Return travel to Bangkok may be separate.
• This offer is not applicable with supplementary Cardmembers or child tickets. No mileage reductions for child award tickets.
• THAI reserves the right to charge Royal Orchid Plus service fees in conjunction with Award travel and redemption tickets.

9. Terms and Conditions for 50% Bonus Royal Orchid miles on selected routes or flights

• 50% bonus Royal Orchid Plus miles on actual distance flown are earned on selected routes or flights during designated promotional periods when traveling on paid fares in Royal First Class or Royal Silk Class.
• Fares eligible for this offer are those in Booking Class F/A/C/D only.
• Bonus Royal Orchid Plus miles are earned in addition to standard class of serviced miles; 150% of actual miles flown in Royal First Class and 125% of actual miles flown in Royal Silk Class, as shown in the following example:
Bangkok - Frankfurt
Earned miles from Royal First Class 5,574 x 150% = 8,361
50% bonus miles on actual distance 5,574 x 50% = 2,787
Total earned miles = 11,148
• Unless specified by flight number, selected routes means international travel on THAI operated flights between Bangkok and the final destination.
• Selected routes or flights eligible for 50% additional bonus miles will be communicated in advance to THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers.
• THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmembers must quote their Royal Orchid Plus membership number at reservations to be eligible for this offer.
• Bonus Royal Orchid Plus miles will be automatically credited to Cardmembers’ Royal Orchid Plus membership account within 7 days after flown.
• The 50% bonus Royal Orchid Plus miles from this offer are not Qualifying Miles that determine Royal Orchid Plus tier status.

10. Terms and Conditions for Complementary Royal First Class Ticket

• On completion of 5 round trips or 10 paid flown sectors in Royal First Class while holding the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card, Cardmember is entitled to one complimentary round trip Royal First Class ticket.
• Valid on THAI international operated flights only.
• This offer is eligible only for paid tickets in booking classes F/A/P.
• Each of the paid 5 round trips or 10 sectors must be flown by the Cardmember, and may not be combined with other tickets purchased by the Cardmember in the name of another. The complimentary ticket will be issued based on the following criteria.

- Six (6) or more flown sectors on regional routes, defined as between Thailand andTHAI destinations within Asia and the Middle East, shall entitle the Cardmember to one (1) Complimentary Royal First Class ticket to a regional destination.

- Six (6) or more flown sectors on intercontinental routes, defined as between Thailand and THAI destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, North America, shall entitle the Cardmember to one (1) Complimentary Royal First Class ticket to an intercontinental destination.
• The Cardmember is entitled to the complimentary ticket each time the criteria of the complimentary Royal First Class ticket is fulfilled.
• Cardmembers will be notified in writing upon being entitled to the complimentary ticket, and the complimentary ticket must be issued within the time period stated on the notification.
• The complimentary ticket is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
• The complimentary ticket is transferable to their Award Nominee upon request from the
THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmember.
• The complimentary ticket is non-reroutable, non-refundable and can not be refunded or exchanged for cash, used in conjunction with other promotions, and is not eligible for Royal Orchid Plus mileage accrual, nor counts towards tier status.

11. Terms and Conditions for Redeem your points for 30% discounts on all THAI flights

• This offer is valid between April 1 - August 31, 2013 ("Promotional Period"), and eligible for the Basic THAI American Express Platinum Credit Cardmember only.
•As an example of the computation of THAI American Express Platinum Points required for redemption of 30% discount on THAI airfare, for a basic airfare of 10,000 Baht, Cardmembers are required to pay 10,000 Baht using the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card. The points required for redemption of 30% discount (in this case equivalent to 3,000 Baht) amounts to 15,000 points (airfare of 10,000 Baht multiplied by 1.5 times)
• The discount will be credited to the Basic Card account within 15 days after the transaction appears on the statement.
• The airfare used in the calculation includes all taxes, surcharges and fees; and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Thai Airways International.
• This Privilege is applicable for all THAI flights and classes of service, plus promotional airfares.
• Cardmembers must notify to use the Privilege at the following channels:
(1) Notify the ticket office representative to use the Privilege prior to making a payment; and the payment must be made using the THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card. The Privilege is only available for ticket(s) purchased at: THAI Ticket Offices (Viphavadi, Silom, Lanluang, Suvarnabhumi branches) or via THAI Contact Center at 0 2356 1111 and American Express Travel Services
(2) THAI American Express Platinum Credit Card Customer Service at 0 2273 5005 within 30 days after purchasingthe ticket(s)
(3) Fax a complete Redemption form to 0 2273 0464 within 30 days after THAI ticket(s)
•Where the THAI American Express Platinum Points required for redemption are insufficient to proceed with a transaction, American Express will charge the full airfare to cardmember's account, without points deduction.
• Redeemed Points cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged to other items.
