Terms and Conditions
1. The BA Miles will be awarded onto your account once you have been approved and you have made your first transaction. Credit Cardmembers will receive 1,000 bonus BA Miles and Premium Plus Cardmembers will receive 6,000 bonus BA Miles. Please note that it can take up to one month for bonus BA Miles to be awarded to your account.
2. For the Credit Card, you will be awarded 1 BA Mile for virtually every £1 you spend. For the Premium Plus Card, you will be awarded 1.5 BA Miles for virtually every £1 you spend and 3 BA Miles for virtually every £1 you spend direct with British Airways and British Airways Holidays. BA Miles are not collected on Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, American Express Traveller Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange and Express cash transactions, interest, any spending in excess of your credit limit, charges for dishonoured cheques, late payment or referral charges and American Express Credit Card finance charges. Once members reach the applicable billed expenditure target on their BA/AMEX Card (the "Target"), they will receive a Companion Voucher. The Voucher can only be used by the Cardmember, who must select/advise at the time of booking that they wish to redeem their Voucher/Reward Ticket. All Vouchers will be issued in the name of the main BA/AMEX Cardholder who must travel on any booking made using the Voucher. The Voucher is only valid if it has been acquired in accordance with the rules of this promotion. Vouchers must be exchanged for a return ticket and all outbound travel from the UK must be taken before the expiry date on the Voucher(s), which is 12 months from the date of issue for Classic and Premium Cardholders. For Premium Plus Cardholders any Voucher issued before 1 July 2009 will be valid for 12 months, and any Vouchers issued after 1 July 2009 will be valid for 24 months from date of issue. Only Premium Plus Cardholders can redeem two Companion Tickets when booking a return flight for four passengers without incurring the flight price for two persons travelling on that same flight. Companions must travel with the Cardmember on both the outbound and inbound journeys. Tickets booked by phone need to be booked at least 48 hours in advance. The Target varies depending on the type of BA/AMEX Card that the member holds: Classic Cardholders – £20,000, Premium Cardholders – £15,000, Premium Plus Cardholders – £10,000. Cardmembers must have accrued the Target within a 12 month period ending each year on the anniversary of their Promotion Commencement Date. Companion Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. One additional Companion Ticket per Cardmember per year. Companion Tickets are not extendable. Redemption Flights and Companion Tickets may only be used for flights on British Airways mainline services which have a BA prefixed flight number. Travel on franchisee, codeshare or alliance airlines is not permitted. Return flights must be booked at the same time as the outward journey is booked. 4. Additional Cardmembers must be 18 years or over.
5. American Express Services Europe Limited ("AESEL") makes various benefits available to Cardmembers. These benefits derive from contracts which AESEL has made with third parties which AESEL is free to amend, extend or terminate at its sole discretion. These benefits do not form part of AESEL's contract with you but AESEL will aim to inform you 30 days in advance of any changes to the available benefits which may be to your detriment. One of the benefits currently available is the benefit of contracts of insurance made between AESEL and certain insurers, for example travel insurance benefits. You will lose these benefits if you cease to be a Cardmember. Exclusions apply. Full details of the insurance benefits currently available can be found in the Summary of Benefits document which will be provided with your Card. Please read this document to understand the limits and exclusions that may apply.
6. BRITISH AIRWAYS AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
American Express may vary the %APR, interest rates and other charges from time to time. Minimum monthly payment 2.5% of the outstanding balance or £5, whichever is greater. A minimum credit limit of £700 will be available. You may pay off your balance in full at any time. The standard interest rate is typical 19.9%APR variable (1.55% per month) for goods and services and 27.9% interest p.a for cash withdrawals.

BRITISH AIRWAYS AMERICAN EXPRESS PREMIUM PLUS CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
American Express may vary the %APR, interest rates and other charges from time to time. Minimum monthly payment 2.5% of the outstanding balance or £5, whichever is greater. You may pay off your balance in full at any time. The standard interest rate for goods and services is typical 46.0%APR variable (1.55% per month) based on an average line of credit of £1,500. The standard interest rate for cash withdrawals is 27.9% p.a. (2.08% per month).
Charges:
a) An annual fee of £150 will be applied.
b) There is a conversion commission of 2.99% on foreign charges.
c) There is a £3 fee for copies of records of transactions and a £5 fee for copies of statements (please note that your statements sent to you each month when you have used your card will not incur this charge).
d) There is a cash withdrawal charge which is £3 or 3% of the withdrawal (whichever is the greater).
