1. American Express Lounge at Vivid Sydney Terms & Conditions

  • Card Members must present their Eligible Card as a condition of entry.
  • Eligible Cards include:
    • American Express Cards issued by American Express including Small Business, Corporate and supplementary cards;
    • American Express Cards issued by licensed network partners.
    The following Cards are not eligible: Business Travel Accounts, Government Cards, Corporate Purchasing Cards, Corporate Meeting Cards, Prepaid Cards and any supplementary cards issued on these accounts.
  • Card Members may bring 1 guest. American Express Centurion and Platinum Card Members may bring up to 2 guests, subject to capacity.
  • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian.
  • American Express may, at its discretion, allow non-American Express Card Members entry into the Lounge from 8:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday – Sunday.
  • Non-American Express Card Members must complete the American Express Lounge Registration Form and show the confirmation email upon arrival as a condition of entry.
  • Access to the American Express Lounge is subject to capacity and bookings cannot be made or accepted. Wait times may apply.
  • American Express Card Members have first right of access to the American Express Lounge and will be prioritised over non-American Express Card Members.
  • A range of food and beverages will be available for purchase and subject to availability.
  • American Express reserves the right to remove any person from the lounge for inappropriate behaviour or failure to adhere to lounge rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent.
  • American Express will not be liable for any articles lost or stolen or damages suffered by guests inside the American Express Lounge.
  • American Express reserves the right to refuse entry to any person if the American Express Lounge eligibility criteria are not met or if capacity has been reached.
  • Dates of Operation: 25 May 2018 – 16 June 2018.
    Hours of Operation: Monday –– Sunday 5:30pm – 10.30pm.
    Dates and Hours of Operation are subject to change.
  • Please note: The American Express Lounge will be closed for a private function on Wednesday 6th June 2018.

2. David Jones Offer

  • Offer valid at the following participating location(s): Elizabeth Street Sydney, Market Street Sydney, Barangaroo, Bondi Junction, Chatswood Chase.
  • Excludes payments made via phone.
  • Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
  • Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-store at David Jones. Offer valid at participating Australian locations only. Excludes online purchases.
  • Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
  • Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
  • Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
  • Credit will not be applied to your Card account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
  • Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

3. Taronga Zoo Offer

  • Only valid for payments made in-person at Zoo Shops and participating cafes and restaurants within Taronga Zoo Sydney. All other payments made (including but not limited to: accommodation, admission, animal encounters and parking) are not eligible for the offer.
  • Offer valid at the following participating cafes and restaurants: Forage & Graze, Taronga Food Market, Taronga Piazza, The View Restaurant.
  • Excludes payments made online or via phone.
  • Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
  • Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-person at Zoo shops or participating cafe and restaurants at Taronga Zoo Sydney. Excludes online purchases.
  • Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
  • Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.

4. Sydney Ferries and Light Rail Offer

  • Valid for travel on Sydney Ferries routes F1-F8 and Sydney Light Rail route L1. Excludes travel on private ferry and fast ferry services (such as SeaLink/Captain Cook Cruises and Manly Fast Ferry), and Newcastle Ferries.
  • You must tap your Card on an Opal reader at the beginning and end of each trip, and both taps must be made using the Card to which the offer is saved.
  • Failure to tap your Card on an Opal reader at the end of a trip will incur a default fare, except when travelling on Sydney Ferries route F1. You are not required to tap your Card on an Opal reader at the end of a trip on Sydney Ferries route F1.
  • Your Card can only be used to pay for one fare per trip, and only Adult Opal single trip fares are eligible for payment using your Card. Any Opal benefits (such as travel caps or off-peak fares) are not applicable for payments made with your Card.
  • Any payments made where you did not successfully tap your Card on the Opal reader are ineligible, such as purchases of Opal single trip tickets or when you top up an Opal card.
  • If your Card is not accepted for payment, you must tap on using an Opal card or Opal single trip ticket in order to travel.
  • Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
  • Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-person at Sydney Ferries and Light Rail. Offer valid at Australian locations only. Excludes online purchases.
  • Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.

5. Dimmi Offer

  • Offer valid at participating restaurants only, which are badged as “Amex Spend $50 get $20”.
  • Offer valid for bookings made between 15/05/2018 and 30/06/2018, or until 25,000 bookings have been allocated. Bookings must be made at dimmi.com.au/amex or via the Dimmi Android app and excludes bookings made via the Dimmi iPhone app. Any changes to your booking must be made via the Dimmi website.
  • You must log in and sync your eligible Card at dimmi.com.au/amex prior to booking and dining at the participating restaurant. Please note that if you previously synced a NAB, Westpac or ANZ issued American Express Card to your Dimmi account, you will need to re-sync a valid American Express Card to be eligible for the offer.
  • You must spend on your synced Card on the date specified on the booking, and only spend on the synced Card counts towards the offer.
  • Excludes transactions where you do not book directly with Dimmi at dimmi.com.au/amex or via the Dimmi Android app (such as bookings made directly with the restaurant or through another online booking site).
  • Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
  • Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from offer end date.
  • Credit will not be applied to your Account if it has been suspended or cancelled.
  • Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

6. To receive a 10% discount on pre-purchased Lights for the Wild tickets, Card Members must pay through the Moshtix website, using an eligible American Express Card and promo code ‘AMEX’ through the American Express Card Member journey. Eligible Cards include American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited and American Express Cards issued by licensed network partners. The 10% discount on tickets is applicable to Adult, Child and Concession tickets purchased. Tickets are subject to availability. For American Express Cards issued outside Australia and New Zealand please call Moshtix Customer Service Team to process transaction. Moshtix are available on 1300 GET TIX (438 849) Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm AEST. They are closed Sundays and Public Holidays. (Callers from outside Australia +61 2 9199 6666).

7. To receive a complimentary Sky Pass for the Sky Safari Cable cart, Card Members must have purchased their tickets through the Moshtix website, using an eligible American Express Card through the American Express Card Member journey. Eligible Cards include American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited and American Express Cards issued by licensed network partners. Complimentary Sky Passes are limited each night and available on a first come, first serve basis with the purchase of Adult, Child and Concession tickets.

8. Don't Spam!
American Express discourages spamming. You should only send referral messages to friends and family who genuinely want to receive them. By participating in ‘Refer a Friend’, you agree to these ‘Refer a Friend’ terms and conditions:

  • Only Friends & Family: You must only send referral messages to close friends and family.
  • Ask Their Permission First: You must ask the person for their permission to send them an email about your Card product. Sending emails to people without permission is considered spam.
  • Referral Cap: If you hold a Consumer card you may only send referral messages to a maximum of 20 friends, the amount of Bonus Points you may receive under the ‘Refer a Friend’ program is capped at 200,000 points per year. If you hold a Small Business Card, the amount of Bonus Points you may receive under the ‘Refer a Friend’ program is capped at 1,000,000 points per year.
  • Your friend must apply from the referral link we have given you. If your friend applies from a separate link or applies independently (i.e. if they visit www.americanexpress.com.au directly) you will not receive your points.
  • You must not market or promote this offer through paid advertising channels or to the public at large (i.e. on public blog sites, search engines or in sponsored ads).
  • You will only receive points if your friend’s Card application is approved (in accordance with our usual Card application processes and assessments). Note: We will not tell you if your friend’s Card application is approved or declined for privacy and confidentiality reasons.
  • You cannot refer a friend who already has one of our cards or has held one in the last 18 months.
  • You must be enrolled in a Rewards program to receive Bonus Points. Bonus Points refer to Qantas Points if you are enrolled in Qantas Direct or Qantas Frequent Flyer, Velocity Points if you are enrolled in Velocity Frequent Flyer and Membership Rewards Points if you are enrolled in Membership Rewards.
  • It may take 8 to 10 weeks to be credited Bonus Points if you are successful.

Why should I comply?
If you fail to comply with these ‘Refer a Friend’ Terms and Conditions, your participation in the program may be cancelled and you will no longer be eligible for any Membership Rewards points from the ‘Refer a Friend’ program.

American Express credit approval criteria apply. All ‘Refer a Friend’ program information is correct as at 5 April 2018 and is subject to change. This offer is only available to those who reside in Australia.
