How to unlock up to HK$17,748 in Platinum privileges?
A. Global Dining Credit - Enjoy up to HK$2,000 statement credit year-round. During the promotion period, up to HK$500 statement credit applicable to the first HK$500 spend at the participating abroad/local restaurants in each redemption period (3rd redemption period: January 1 - June 30, 2026; 4th redemption period: July 1 - Dec 31, 2026). American Express Travel Online Benefit - Up to HK$1,100 statement credit. During the Promotion Period (January 6 to June 30, 2026), each registered Eligible Card can enjoy a maximum amount of HK$1,100 statement credit.
B. Family Travel Insurance - Platinum Card Members and their families can enjoy global travel insurance underwritten by Chubb Insurance Hong Kong Limited. The coverage includes a family with one child under 21 years old under the basic Annual Multi-Trip Plan of the American Express Premier Travel Protector, equivalent to HK$4,750.Compare to similar product at insurance market is HK$4,750, as of 2024 September.

You qualify for this Card if:
- You are 18 years or older
- You are a Hong Kong or Macau resident / citizen
*2,110,000 points can be converted to 117,222 miles, enough to redeem 4 round-trip tickets to Japan/Korea1 or 2 round-trip tickets to London/Paris, or can be used to offset HK$7,033 eligible transactions with Pay with Points. 810,000 points can be converted to 45,000 miles, enough to redeem oneround-trip ticket to Japan or three round-trip tickets to Taipei1.
Conversion rate is based on 1 mile redeemable by 18 Membership Rewards points; HK$10 Pay with Points redeemable by 3,000 Membership Rewards points.

- Foreign currency spend has to be settled in a foreign currency. Foreign currency means any currency other than Hong Kong Dollars. If a transaction is converted into Hong Kong Dollars prior to being submitted to American Express International, Inc. (for example, if the merchant gives you the option of converting the transaction to Hong Kong Dollars at point of sale), the foreign currency spend earn rate will not be applied on that spend. Payments for online transactions made in Hong Kong Dollars will also not be considered foreign currency spend.
