Lost Card? Luggage? Passport?
If you lose your Card and need a replacement, we aim to replace it as soon as possible. Our staff have been known to move mountains to organize replacement Cards as soon as possible. If you’ve lost your wallet, we could even help you with your hotel check-in or arrange an emergency cash advance, if you need one.
Our Travel Emergency Assistance* service can help you locate lost luggage; or find you a lawyer, interpreter or English-speaking doctor in a hurry. We can provide prescription replacement assistance and arrange an urgent message relay if you need to reach someone back home.

Your credit cards and personal documents are precious. However, you can protect them with the AMEX® InfoAssist service. It's like a virtual vault where you can record the numbers of your credit cards, bank cards, passports, birth certificates, licenses, health cards, insurance policies, and more. If your wallet is lost or stolen whether you are home or abroad, call an AMEX® InfoAssist representative immediately and he/she will notify your registered card issuers, ask them to block the cards from fraudulent use and request replacement cards wherever possible.

If you run into troubles while travelling, help is one call away. Travel Emergency Assistance, a 24-hour telephone service - can refer you to hospitals, embassies, doctors and lawyers around the world. They can also provide you with key travel information, including details on visa and inoculation requirements, 7 days a week.
How it works
To prepare you for any situation that may arise during your travels, American Express offers out-of-town emergency medical and legal referrals and important travel-specific information (such as visa requirements or customs and inoculation regulations) available by telephone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
