1Trip Cancellation benefits reimburse the cost of non-refundable and non-transferable portion of prepaid travel arrangements up to the amount of the sum insured in the event of trip cancellation as a result an insured risk that happens prior to your departure.
Coverage is available for a single trip under the Per Trip Plan and for multiple trips during the year under the Multi-Trip Annual Plan. Coverage is available for purchase at various sum insured levels, up to a maximum of $10,000 per person / $20,000 per family. The sum insured level purchased will be shown in the Confirmation of Insurance issued to you upon enrollment.
2If an insured risk occurs during your trip and causes you to interrupt your trip, Trip Interruption benefits can cover the eligible costs of transportation to your next destination or early return to your departure point. If an insured risk occurs during your trip and results in your being delayed from returning to your departure point beyond your scheduled return date, certain eligible costs associated with this trip delay can be covered.
Coverage is available for a single trip under the Per Trip Plan and for multiple trips during the year under the Multi-Trip Annual Plan. Coverage is available for purchase at various sum insured levels, up to a maximum of $10,000 per person / $20,000 per family for trip interruption benefits. The sum insured level purchased will be shown in the Confirmation of Insurance issued to you upon enrollment. For trip delay, eligible costs may be reimbursed up to $100 per day, up to a maximum of $1,000 per person / $3,000 per family.
3Flight & Travel Accident Insurance provides a benefit of $50,000 for death, double dismemberment, loss of sight of both eyes or complete and irrevocable loss of speech or hearing; or a benefit of $25,000 for single dismemberment or loss of sight in one eye); when such losses occur as the result of an accident that occurs during your trip, and the when the loss occurs within 365 days from the date of the accident.
Coverage is available for a single trip under the Per Trip Plan and for multiple trips during the year under the Multi-Trip Annual Plan.
