Global Cash Access
As a Gold Cardmember, you have easy access to cash wherever you are in the world:
- You can cash a personal cheque at any American Express Travel Office up to the value of NZ$2,000 every 7 days when travelling overseas, or NZ$1,000 every 7 days within New Zealand.
Automatic Travel Accident Insurance
Use the Gold Card to purchase travel tickets on any public carrier and you will receive up to NZ$400,000 Travel Accident Insurance cover*. This means you're covered for loss of life or limb when travelling on a regularly scheduled plane, train, bus or ship.
