If you are setting up your Direct Debit online or via the Amex App, you will be advised during the set-up journey when your Direct Debit will begin and when the payment will collect. The more you pay off your Credit Card, or if you pay all of your balance by the due date, you will pay less interest. You can find out what the minimum repayment is for your Credit Card by looking at your Credit Card statement. Direct Debit payments for Charge Cards require the full balance. Once the Direct Debit is set up, you will see it clearly marked on your statement and you will receive a confirmation letter to your billing address. Until this time, please continue to make your payments in the usual way.
If you have a Corporate Account that is settled by the company, you are not able to set up a Direct Debit. If you hold a Charge Card with the Flex Select facility please contact us to set up Direct Debit.
