1. We have assumed customer will drive benefit by putting the spend on Card and will get Membership Rewards points on BAU spend on Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers, value driven from Fuel Bonus benefit and 10K taj vouchers given to Cardmember during the birthday month.

a. If each Supplementary Cardmember will spend 10% off what Basic will spend on the Card every month and each Cardmember will take 2 Supplementary Cards. Also, American Express® Platinum Cardmember doesn’t get Membership Rewards points on all spends, and the assumption is that 15% of spend will be on categories like utilities and insurance. Formula: (Spend/40) *0.4*85.

b. Assuming each CM spend at least ₹ 5,000 on Fuel every month and will get 4 Bonus MR points on every ₹ 100 limited to 5,000 Bonus MR points in a month.

c. Customer gets ₹ 10,000 Vouchers during the Birthday month

2. There are around 50+ partners on the Reward Multiplier where customer gets 5X reward points limited to 25,000 points per month. Basis Cardmember annual spend on Reward Multiplier, we have calculated the Membership Rewards points they will get and respective value of those Membership Rewards points at 0.4 P

3. Assuming each dining bill will be of ₹6,000 whenever Cardmember will dine out and will get 25% off on the total bill; Average spend per delivery order taken at ₹1,500 and average discount taken at 20%. Basis customer response, we have assumed that they will go out 50% times and order the rest 50% time in a month. Also, Customer gets membership of Taj Epicure and EazyDiner worth ₹5,000 and ₹3,500 respectively.

4. This calculation and logic include 6 domestic travel benefits we have on American Express® Platinum Card: Vistara offer, American Express Travel Benefit, Prop Lounge, Taj benefit and Partner lounges. We have assumed that Cardmember will travel with 2 more people on the domestic trips.

Vistara: Average base fare for one-way Business class assumed as ₹30,000 and Average base fare on the same route on Premium Economy assumed as ₹8,000. Vistara offers a flat 15% discount on Business and Premium Economy; Usage Logic: Cardmember will travel by both. Business and First class and use this benefit every time (weighted average of the amount has been taken); offer applicable till 31 March 2023. Formula: = (15%*((₹8,000*no of people/2) + (₹30,000*no of people/2))) * no. of trips.

Proprietary lounges: 1 visit to American Express Delhi Lounge priced at ₹3,000 or 1 visit to American Express Mumbai Lounge priced at ₹3,000 per Cardmember; multiplied by no. of trips and no. of people.

Taj 30% off on Suites: Offer available till 31 May 2023; Taj Offer 30% off on BAR on Suites along with following sweeteners. Average value of bill at BAR for three nights four days for a suite: ₹75,000; Dinner Meal for two: ₹10,000; Complimentary wine: ₹4,000; Complimentary daily breakfast for three(for four days): ₹2,500*3; Other benefits: Complimentary Wifi, airport transfer, SPA benefit: ₹10,000. Formula: (30%*₹75000) + ₹5,000+₹4,000+ ₹7,500+₹10,000.

Domestic partner lounges: Assuming lounge visits by Cardmember in 2022 for travel assumed at a rate of ₹1,000 per visit on return from domestic getaway destination; multiply by no. of trips and no. of people.

Domestic Meet and Greet, Delhi: Cardmember get an option to chose domestic Meet and Greet benefit at Delhi Airport 4 times in a year (once per quarter), value for each service is 3,000 per Pax and we have assumed that CM will use it at least twice and get at least benefit of ₹6,000

We have assumed that Cardmember will travel with 2 more people on international trips.

3X Membership Rewards points on overseas spend: Assuming Basic Cardmember will spend 6 Lacs, and each Supplementary Cardmember will
spend 3 Lacs on the Card. Assuming redemption rate to be up to 0.4 per point. Formula for basic: (spend/40) *0.4*2 and formula for
Sup:(spend/40)*0.4*2* number of supps.
Fine hotel and resorts: Daily Breakfast for 2 for 2 days: ₹10,000; Room Upgrade for 2 nights: ₹2,000; Unique Amenity: ₹6,500; Late Checkout - ₹8,500.
Virgin Atlantic Offer: 25% Offer on the business class ticket; Ticket: Delhi to New York; Average base fare: 1 Lac per person per round trip (base fare).
Proprietary lounges: Each visit to Delhi/Mumbai proprietary lounges will cost ₹3,000.
Centurion Lounges: Each visit costs $50.

6. Cardmember is entitled to Green Fees waiver at our 30+ partner golf courses. Green fees is assumed to be ₹3,000 per round subject to slots’ availability at the golf course. Assuming Cardmember will play 6 times in a year. Cardmember is entitled to complimentary golf lessons at our partnering golf courses. The price per lesson is assumed to be around ₹1,250 per round and 6 lessons of golf in a year. Assuming Cardmember or Supplementary Cardmember will take 6 lessons in a year.
