To ensure we’re compliant with RBI requirements, we’re unable to migrate any existing Standing Instructions to the SI Hub. Once the merchant integration is complete, you’ll need to re-register your Standing Instructions directly through each merchant’s website or app. Until then, please continue to make payments directly to your service providers.
You can’t set up Standing Instructions through the SI Hub. You’ll need to set up the mandate directly with the merchant. The SI Hub can be used to view and manage your Standing Instructions. We’re onboarding additional merchants to this new portal – we’ll keep you posted on our progress.
American Express will only be able to process recurring domestic transactions once the merchant integration is complete. No, we’re unable to set up the Standing Instructions for you – it must be initiated by you through the domestic merchant.
Yes, you can pause a Standing Instruction for one month. If for some reason you need to pause a Standing Instruction for more than one month, you can cancel the existing mandate and register a new one with the merchant when you’d like to resume automatic payments.
When you register for a mandate, a test charge for a token amount is charged to your Card. This charge will be reversed and won’t be billed to your account.
Yes. Simply log into the SI Hub where you can view and manage all your Standing Instructions. You’ll be able to modify the end date, set a maximum amount for a Standing Instruction and more.
Payments go through automatically when the amount is less than INR 5,000. However, RBI regulations require an approval for any Auto-Payment greater than INR 5,000.
To ensure there are no interruptions in your service, you can initiate timely payments directly on the merchant’s website or app using your American Express Card. This includes both domestic and international merchants.

As part of the enhancements relating to the login process for the SI Hub, we have introduced a User ID and password based login process which provides enhanced security and the capability to add more than one American Express® Banking Corp. India (American Express) card.
Follow the steps below to create a new User ID and password:
Once you have completed the sign-up process, we will send you an email containing a code and a link to the verification page. You will need to enter that code on the verification page to validate the email ID you provided during the registration process. Your email ID will be your User ID – it can also be a different email ID than the one used to register your Online Account.
Once you have logged into your account on the SI Hub, you can then add your Card(s) so you can view and manage your e-mandates.

Once the Card is successfully authenticated, all e-mandates corresponding to that Card number will be displayed. If needed, you can repeat this process to add another American Express Card.

The SI you registered with us on SI hub portal may not get honored however, on the SI hub you will be able to continue view them, they will not get deleted. The SI registered will start getting honored once our solution is available.
