How can I use Membership Rewards® points toward a Gift Card purchase on americanexpress.com/gift?

You can use Membership Rewards® points toward the purchase of a Gift Card.

A minimum of 1,000 points is required. Just follow these steps:

1. Add the American Express Gift Card(s) or Business Gift Card(s) to your shopping cart
2. Log in with your americanexpress.com User ID and Password to check your Membership Rewards point balance and the amount of points needed for your purchase
3. Pay with an American Express Card enrolled in the Membership Rewards program and choose the number of points you want to apply to your purchase

Your Card will be charged for the full purchase amount. You’ll receive a statement credit for the value of the points you used toward the purchase in your next statement.
