What will happen to points on my account if American Express® cancels my Card due to inactivity?

For your security, if we notice your Card has not been used for a long time, we may close your account. Please be assured that we will not close your account without warning. We’ll let you know if your Card is at risk of being deactivated and how you can keep your account open. If your account is closed, your Membership Rewards® account may be impacted.
