Eligible Cards: Tickets to the Festival can be purchased using any American Express® Card. All Amex® Cards are eligible for the ACL Cashless American Express Perks outlined below.

About the Program
American Express is excited to partner with Austin City Limits Music Festival for the sixth year as the Official Card and Cashless Partner. American Express® Card Members can register their Card for ACL Cashless to receive exclusive perks such as a one-time $5 Cashless spend credit, which can be used in a single transaction at all cashless-accepting merchants on site; access to the American Express Cashless Entrances; access to the Card Member Club; and access to the dedicated Card Member fast lane at the main merch tent.
Along with our Cashless perks, American Express will be onsite at the festival with our two-story American Express Experience. All festivalgoers are welcome to visit the 1st floor of the American Express Experience to enjoy a Y2K-inspired photo experience as well as limited-edition NFTs! American Express Card Members & their guests (up to two) will receive exclusive access to the Card Member Club where they can relax & recharge. Located on the 2nd level of the American Express Experience, the Card Member Club includes a dedicated bar, complimentary refresh station, views of the Amex stage, and more! Space is limited and must be 21+ to purchase/consume alcohol.

How to Participate
Instructions on how to register for ACL Cashless will be included when you receive your wristband in the mail. Simply follow these three easy steps:
- Once you receive your wristband, go to https://www.aclfestival.com/wristband/ and activate your Festival ticket with the unique ID (located on the inside of your wristband).
- Then, register your American Express Card for ACL Cashless Payments by entering your 15-digit American Express Card and set a required PIN for security.
- You’ll be able to access all American Express ACL Cashless perks via your wristband once you’ve registered with your American Express Card.
- To take advantage of the Cashless spend credit: When you’re at the Festival, let vendors know you are paying with your wristband. You’ll have the option to leverage your one-time $5 Cashless spend credit, which can be used when you tap to pay. Terms Apply.

No, you can activate your wristband without enabling the ACL Cashless payment option.
You can visit the wristband activation tent just inside the Barton Springs Festival entrance, and the ACL staff can help you register for ACL Cashless and set your PIN.
No. ACL Cashless is free to sign up and use.
No financial data is stored on your wristband. The PIN you choose during ACL Cashless registration will always be required to make a purchase, but your Card number and billing details are not stored on the wristband. It is all secure.
Yes. It works in conjunction with your credit Card so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during registration (just like a debit card), so no one else will be able to use your wristband or your ACL Cashless Account without your PIN.
Yes. If you wish to allow your Card to be linked to multiple wristbands, you can. Each wristband will require a separate PIN. The PIN must be entered when using the wristband to purchase anything participating in the ACL Cashless program at the Festival.
No. You will only be able to link a single Card to your wristband.
Not unless the Card you linked it to does. No funds are stored on the wristband. It’s just linked to your Card. As long as you can still use your Card, you will still be able to use your ACL Cashless wristband.
Please make sure to visit the ACL Ticket Help booths (located at each entrance) or the ACL Festival Box Office and ACL staff will be able to help replace the wristband if you activated it. You will have to re-link your credit Card for security purposes.
Yes. Once you get your wristband(s), just visit www.aclfestival.com from your smart phone or click the Activation link in the ACL Mobile App, and complete the easy activation steps and optional ACL Cashless add-on. Visit Ticket Help at each entrance or the Wristband Activation tent just inside the Festival for any questions or assistance.

About the American Express ACL Cashless benefits
American Express® Card Members who register their American Express Card with ACL Cashless will receive:
- A one-time $5 Cashless spend credit, which can be used in a single transaction at all cashless-accepting merchants on site.
- Access to the American Express Cashless Entrances.
- Access to the Card Member Club, on the 2nd floor of the American Express Experience. Two (2) guests per Card Member.
- Access to the Card Member Fast Lane, located at the main merch tent. No guests are permitted.

For those who register in advance, you will receive a confirmation email from ACL. For those who register at an on-site kiosk, you will be shown a success screen on the kiosk after you successfully enrolled.

- To take advantage of the Cashless spend credit: When you’re at the festival, order at any bar location and select vendors, and let them know you are paying with your wristband. You’ll have the option to leverage your one-time $5 Cashless spend credit, which can be used in a single transaction when you tap to pay. Terms Apply.
- Once you receive your wristband, go to https://www.aclfestival.com/wristband/ and activate your festival ticket with the unique ID (located on the inside of your wristband) during which time you can link your American Express Card to your wristband and set a required PIN for security.
- All American Express ACL Cashless perks will automatically be loaded to your wristband once your register with your American Express Card.
- The American Express Cashless Entrances are off of Barton Springs Road (Barton Springs West) and at the Lady Bird Lake entrance. The entrances will be marked on all festival maps, so you can’t miss them!
Outside of the American Express Experience (located on the left side), there is a check-in desk for Card Members & their guests. At the check-in desk, scan your wristband that has your Amex Card linked, or tap your Card, and you will be able to access the Card Member Club with up to two guests.
Outside of the main merch tent there will be signage to indicate where the Card Member Fast Lane begins. Enter the lane by scanning your wristband that has your American Express Card linked, or show/tap your Card, and you will be able to access the Card Member Fast Lane. No guests are permitted in the Fast Lane.
Yes, the one-time credit can be spent at more than one merchant provided a balance remains.
Please visit one of the ticket help booths located by the ACL Fest entrance gates on-site. An ACL staff member will look into the issue and work to resolve it.
