How can I accept card payments for my business through American Express® Payment Accept?

You can accept card payments online through customized, professional invoices, or with a custom pay link.

Invoices
Invoicing allows you to send customizable, professional invoices through email, which gives your customers a way to pay online via major credit and debit cards for any amount less than $10,000 per transaction.

Pay links
When you set up your American Express® Payment Accept account, you’ll create a custom URL with your business name (e.g. pay.americanexpress.com/BobsBakery). You can share your custom pay link through various communication channels such as an email, a text message, etc. When your customers click the link, they can instantly make online card payments in amounts up to $10,000.

Note: Using your custom pay link does not generate an invoice.
